The Notre Dame College Model United Nations 2018 or NDCMUN’18 is being organised by the Notre Dame International Understanding and Relation Club (NDIURC) which is promised to be kicking off from 11th January, 2018. This will be the 2nd sitting of this event in Notre Dame College. The NDIURC had set it’s benchmark previously in February, 2017 which inaugurated its MUN legacy at home.
NDCMUN mainly focuses to provide the participants substantial ground on academics, involvement in debate and most importantly the feeling of assurance that the conference will be worth every single penny being invested.
The Notre Dame College Model United Nations Conference 2017 was successful to implement these targets. The event was held from 9-11 February, 2017 consisting of ample hours of committee sessions, heated debates, upsurging diplomatic tensions and to end it all, the most anticipated “Socials” was held under the abyss of twilight making it a blissful night to remember! This successful conference was all brought to you by the supervision of Mrs. Rita Josephine Rozario (Club Moderator of NDIURC) and the endless hard work of the Secretariat led by Secretary General, Naveed Ashfaque.
Now, the clock is ticking and expectations rise when months will convert to days and days to moments before the 2nd conference kickstarts. The Secretariat is already undergoing event planning for organising the 2018 calendar’s first MUN. The focus now lies on making the event more bigger than the previous. The Secretariat will be also be working on to rectifying previous mistakes to make the event more efficient.
